Battled him twice in two years. Scars, barely healed, cover my soul, my heart. I know the Monster thinks he's winning. Winning in his quest, his mission. To wipe as much as he can off the Earth. To take the one's we love away, forever. He can't really do that. We are a continuation of our parents. Physically in our blood and flesh and, more so, in our minds..... Tradition's in childhood, thought silly at the time, serve us now. Serve to remind us of the good times, of times once thrown out a window and thought forever lost. You stand ready to battle the Monster. Battle him with all your heart and soul, battle him memories, battle him with the knowledge that endings are beginnings that have only just begun. You'll do fine, kid..... K J K 5/13/94 S.O. Water Drips from grey clouds form in to a downpour. Downpour hits ground, forms a stream. Stream flows over eroding soil, moving down. Stream flows in to river. River flows in to ocean. The sun shines on the ocean, blue. Water evaporates in to a mist, a steam. Steam rises high in the sky to form clouds. Clouds move, always gathering more water. Clouds, now saturated with water turn grey. Drips from grey clouds form in to a downpour... K J K 05/14/94 After The Fact Moon-glo is shining though the windows, the time is late. I lay here in this quiet time, awake, aware, and reflective. I watch you take every breath and then exhale. Do you know the rapture you have caused within my heart, mind and body? Clock chimes 'nother hour. Our time is just starting and far from exhausted..... K J K 05/25/94 *FIN!
